Description

• Ensure reliability, availability, and performance of applications within Medicare Technology Operations. • Work with development and operations teams to build and maintain monitoring capabilities. • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with observability tools. • Implement automation and improvements for system performance. • Design and implement observability solutions across various platforms. • Collaborate with teams to define service level objectives and agreements. • Proactively identify and resolve performance issues. • Develop monitoring tools, alerts, and dashboards. • Maintain documentation of system architecture and procedures. • Assist with capacity planning and resource allocation. • Stay updated on industry best practices and technologies.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and command line tools. • Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure. • Understanding of networking principles and protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, etc.). • Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration tools. • Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk, Prometheus, or Grafana. • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines preferred. • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Shell, or Perl a plus. • Strong organizational skills and team-oriented attitude.
