β€’ Responsible for finding and cultivating opportunities for expansion in new markets and with new customers β€’ Building relationships with existing clients in an attempt to identify new opportunities for revenue generating products and services β€’ Create, negotiate and close new business agreements β€’ Develop and implement new sales strategies to ensure revenue and profitability targets are met β€’ Work within the CRM to track leads, opportunities, contracts and related activities β€’ Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and schedule meetings β€’ Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives β€’ Attending conferences, meetings and industry events with the intent of expanding industry knowledge and finding new business prospects β€’ Demonstrating basic functionality of all products being sold by Group β€’ Developing quotes, proposals and contracts β€’ Developing sales goals for the team and ensuring they are met β€’ Providing direction to account manager(s) in developing strong client relationships and expanding back-to-base sales β€’ Manage expectations, set realistic goals, and achieve them with internal and external customers β€’ Conduct and manage the sales cycle process from initial contact through to qualification by actively listening and building trust with prospects and understanding their needs β€’ Drive for results by maintaining a high volume of daily prospecting through cold calling and market nurturing activities β€’ Manages time effectively to maximize results

Requirements

β€’ Proven business development manager who is used to working to and achieving targets β€’ Proven track record in sales, business development and winning new business β€’ Proven track record of increasing revenue through generation of leads β€’ In-depth knowledge of the industry and its current events β€’ Understanding of industry financial metrics and drivers β€’ The ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and manage multiple conflicting priorities to meet strategic deadlines β€’ Excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to form real connections with people from diverse professional backgrounds – from skilled labor through to CEOs β€’ The ability to communicate clearly and confidently, both in person and in writing β€’ Socailly adept β€’ Flexible, hands-on approach β€’ Energetic, motivated, and enthusiastic β€’ Excellent attention to detail β€’ Work with honesty and integrity to build trust with client and fellow employees
