• Join our winning team, recently honored as #67 on Forbes’ list of America’s Best Startup Employers for 2024! • The Helper Bees (THB) was created to fill an obvious need in an underserved community. • Inspired by love and brought to reality through passion and determination, The Helper Bees was founded to empower older adult citizens and their families in their search for quality, affordable in-home care providers. • We do this by providing older adults the ability to easily review, choose, and access affordable quality in-home helpers. • The Helper Bees mission is to help people stay home longer through data-driven services that transform both the payer and the care-recipient experience. • The Vendor Relationship Manager oversees the identification, evaluation, and integration of vendors that enhance outcomes and engagement. • This role involves managing the end-to-end process of vendor selection, from assessing suitability and fit to presenting value propositions to carrier partners. • The position requires close collaboration with account managers, executives, and external partners to advocate for the organization as the central coordinator of wellness initiatives, ensuring that all contractual agreements include payment structures that compensate for this role.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Marketing, or a related field, with an emphasis on vendor management, contract negotiation, relationship building, and project coordination, or equivalent work experience preferred. • 2+ years experience in vendor management, contract negotiation, or program coordination within healthcare or a related field, with a demonstrated ability to evaluate vendors, manage partnerships, and collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners. • 2+ years experience overseeing contracting processes, including negotiating terms and payment structures that align with business objectives and ensure mutual benefit for all parties involved. • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong partnerships with carrier partners, vendors, and stakeholders, including experience in managing partnerships within the government and LTCI sectors. • 2+ years experience working closely with account managers, executives, and external partners to advocate for and position the organization as a key coordinator in wellness initiatives, ensuring seamless collaboration and execution. • Experience in establishing and managing invoicing processes, operationalizing vendors within programs, and acting as a liaison to provide ongoing support, including data reporting on utilization and performance metrics.
