• As an Account Manager, responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. • Handle and develop key accounts while promoting the CMD product portfolio. • Develop and maintain long-lasting customer relationships while providing sales expertise. • Responsible for all elements of the sales cycle: prospecting, qualification, and closing orders. • Use data to create sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and enhance market penetration. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales strategies with overall business objectives. • Expand on current account penetration and share of wallet. • Develops sales strategies to meet plan and maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities. • Lead teamwork and coordination with technical sales and service to provide technical expertise.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in the sciences, Master’s degree preferred. • 3+ years of successful sales experience in the analytical instrument market. • Ideally 2+ years of hands-on instrument knowledge (IC, LC, GC, MS or ICP). • Must have a valid driver's license and record. • Strong market knowledge and professional network. • Excellent collaboration, analytical, problem solving and negotiation skills. • Highly motivated, strong communicator, concise and accurate presentation skills. • Ability to work cross-functionally in a matrix environment. • Computer proficiency in MS Office, and CRM tools are essential. • Ability to travel to customer locations up to 50% including overnight travel.
