Description

•This role is fully remote and can sit anywhere within the US •Join a team supporting research in materials science, product quality control, and environmental protection •Work in market development, key account penetration, and sales funnel growth in process analysis environments •Develop strategic and tactical growth plans for process spectroscopy solutions •Drive commercial perfection with business development activities, including sales calls and CRM tools •Engage with colleagues across corporate accounts for collaboration and new opportunities •Communicate bookings outlook for performance insight and service delivery •Support customers through presentations, tradeshows, and events •Improve product demonstration workflows for market advantage •Understand account organizations to build relationships with decision makers

Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree, preferably in chemistry, biochemistry, or engineering •Professional with experience in Commercial Sales, Applications Support, or Business Development role •Experience with Raman &/or Near-Infrared (NIR) spectroscopy, or FT-IR spectroscopy with an understanding of how these techniques are used for both qualitative and quantitative analysis •Confirmed experience with analytical scientific instrumentation, capital equipment, and process analysis or process analytical technology (PAT) •Has broad familiarity with industries such as Bio-Pharmaceutical, Chemical, Oil & Gas, Academia •Experience in Business/Account development •Understanding of sophisticated capital equipment sales cycles •Hands-on knowledge of RAMAN, NIR and/or FTIR Spectroscopy •Ability to collaborate closely with people at all levels at our customer’s organization •Experience with CRM utilization (e.g. SFDC)
