• Join Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. as a Technical Sales Specialist, selling and supporting high-value products across the United States. • Identify and prioritize new client opportunities to improve business growth and market penetration. • Conduct prospecting and demand generation activities by acting as a product thought-leader at technical forums. • Develop trust and relationships with major decision-makers and clarify goals while maintaining interests of all parties. • Support Account Managers with strategy development and execution, leading collaboration to solve customer challenges. • Share the voice of the customer with the Business Unit and support new Product Introduction (NPI) prospects. • Maintain awareness of competitor and industry activity, introducing new products and services as available.

Requirements

• 3+ years of sales experience in analytical instrument market, required. • 5+ years, preferred. • Proven track record of sales achievements in a relevant market and leading complex, high-value accounts. • Bachelor’s degree, required - Preferably in the sciences. • Master's degree, preferred. • Equivalent work experience may be considered. • Business insight into industry sectors, markets, key trends, and potential challenges preferred. • A sales "hunter" with a commercial approach, strongly motivated by the desire to win new business. • Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication, and presentation skills. • Proficient in English; additional languages as required in the assigned region. • Demonstrated commercial excellence working in a matrix environment. • Computer proficiency in MS Office, CRM. • Ability to travel to customer locations up to 80% including overnight travel. • Demonstrate Thermo Fisher Scientific values – Integrity, Intensity, Innovation, and Involvement.
