β€’ The Biopharma Business Development Manager is responsible for delivering revenue and driving growth globally for BioPharma antibody discovery services. β€’ Accountable for delivering accurate revenue forecasts, monitoring business performance. β€’ Maintain knowledge of competitor products and strategies, providing customer feedback on Twist Bioscience products. β€’ Develop sales strategy and tactics driving the growth of the Biopharma antibody discovery services portfolio. β€’ Attain quarterly and annual revenue targets, support ongoing growth of team members, and develop key customer relationships. β€’ Conduct market research to identify potential customers, and develop collaborative partnerships. β€’ Work cross-functionally with various internal and external resources to maintain effective customer relations. β€’ Travel ~60% domestically in the US. β€’ Develop and implement hiring and training plans, including the development of regional managers. β€’ Additional duties as assigned.

🎯 Requirements

β€’ Proven track record of delivering financial targets on a quarterly and annual basis. β€’ Successful track record of developing and managing a sales team for at least 3 years. β€’ At least 3-5 years of direct experience selling antibody in vivo and/or in vitro discovery/optimization services and related services. β€’ Demonstrated, extensive and successful track record of sales, partnering or licensing contracts within the pharmaceutical industry, preferably within the field of protein and/or antibody engineering. β€’ Knowledge of therapeutic antibody markets is essential. β€’ Demonstrated technical knowledge of antibody applications. β€’ A background in technical sales and support and/or product management is preferred. β€’ Application and experience in the use of CRMs (e.g., Salesforce.com) is a prerequisite.
