Description

β€’ The Business Development Manager is responsible for closing accounts for their assigned book of business. β€’ Achieve revenue and profitability growth aligned to strategic goals. β€’ Identify, develop, and manage relationships at all levels within assigned and new accounts. β€’ Act as a liaison between the dealer and TrueCar. β€’ Understand the needs of the dealer and educate them on TrueCar products. β€’ Strong coordination with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

β€’ Proven success in retail sales in an automotive dealership environment. β€’ Experience in digital media advertising. β€’ Excellent communication and presentation skills. β€’ Proven ability to identify, initiate, negotiate, and close deals. β€’ Proven track record of consistently meeting and/or exceeding sales goals β€’ Ability to formulate, implement and execute sales strategy, plans and tactics. β€’ Experience with Salesforce or other Customer Relationship Management tool. β€’ Experience interfacing with client contacts at various levels. β€’ Demonstrated understanding of client standards and requirements. β€’ Strong sales skills with ability to create tangible interest. β€’ Ability to communicate client requirements and methodologies to internal organization. β€’ Demonstrated ability to represent the company within an assigned book of business. β€’ High integrity, self-starter, strong work ethic. β€’ Ability to utilize state of the art office software. β€’ Tech-savvy with ability to understand, interpret and present data. β€’ Ability to grasp new concepts quickly with an open mind for change. β€’ Strong understanding of auto dealerships. β€’ Ability to travel domestically by airplane or car including overnight trips up to 75% of the time.
