Description

• Responsible for selling Edclub's product offerings to schools and school districts nationwide • Owner of the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing • Build relationships with decision makers at state, district, and local school levels • Primarily remote but requires occasional travel to meet customers and attend trade shows and industry events • Meet and exceed sales quotas • Provide high-quality sales forecasts and prepare reports for leadership • Follow up on inbound sales leads • Prospect for new customers • Expand revenue opportunity within new and existing subscribers • Conduct high quality and well-informed virtual sales demos to prospects • Manage the entire lifecycle of a sale and build new business relationships • Provide input for contract negotiations • Prepare RFPs and quotes • Maintain knowledge of competitive landscape and state alignment standards • Coordinate efforts with other teams to close deals • Improve selling skills and participate in self-paced sales training • Attend trade shows and visit customers onsite • Perform various public speaking events to present Edclub's offerings • Maintain knowledge of Edclub's products • Other role-specific duties as assigned

Requirements

• Excellent telephone etiquette, written and verbal communication skills • Strong presentation skills over the web and in-person • Sense of humor, positive attitude, and superior relationship-building skills • Good organizational skills and attention to detail • Ability to work both independently (with direction) and with a team • Proficient use of web-based products such as Google Docs, Sheets, Drive, and generally ‘tech-savvy’ • Experience with CRM systems preferred • Minimum 2+ years of related experience preferably in SaaS sales, account management, or inside sales role • Bachelor's degree preferred
