Description

• Work within a shared services model for Mint Mobile and Ultra Mobile brands. • Responsible for transactional work and compliance with laws and regulations. • Manage vendor and client contracts. • Create internal policies and procedures for shared services and business teams. • Ensure company compliance with relevant laws and policies. • Design and implement policies to maximize compliance and detect/correct violations. • Review company policies and practices regularly. • Review proposed action plans for compliance. • Develop mechanisms for detecting and correcting violations. • Recommend strategies that promote company goals while complying with regulations. • Prepare for audits and investigations by developing strategies and maintaining records. • Draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts. • Partner with other departments to review contracts.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice law; California or New York preferred. • 7+ years of relevant experience as an attorney working for a law firm or as in-house counsel; telecommunications experience preferred. • Experienced in a wide range of corporate transactional matters and general compliance support. • Experienced in legal matters around media, consumers, intellectual property, sweepstakes/contests, and rights of publicity laws and regulations.
