📋 Description

• Lead financial operations, drive process improvements, and unify global accounting under GAAP. • Bring your expertise in NetSuite & SaaS to a dynamic team! • Oversee all aspects of the company's financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with GAAP standards • Create consolidated financial statements on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis for multiple legal entities • Assist with preparation of the annual audit, including report and footnote creation • Sales Tax review/management • Research accounting issues for compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) • Assist in the formulation of internal controls and policies to comply with legislation and established best practices • Review the company information to identify and resolve inaccuracies or imbalances • Scale the Accounting team by implementing best practices in each area • Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency • Implement controls and procedures to mitigate financial risks and ensure compliance • Lead and mentor a small team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement • Set clear performance expectations and provide regular feedback and coaching • Promote professional development opportunities to support the growth of team members

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred • Proven experience in accounting roles, ideally spending time in a supervisory position • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including experience with financial reporting and analysis • Strong proficiency in Netsuite ERP system administration and configuration • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with cross-functional teams • Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a track record of driving results and developing high-performing teams • Collaboration with Controller for team selection, hiring, training and performance evaluations/promotional recommendations • Ability to act independently and prioritize appropriately while always being flexible and adaptable • High level of organization with a keen attention to detail • Proficient with data analysis, critical thinking and problem solving. • Successful track record of managing multiple, competing priorities while exceeding expectations. • Previous experience with a remote-first culture • Former experience at a SaaS company, including exposure to ASC606 Revenue Recognition rules
