• Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field. • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience as a UI/UX designer, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in web-based and client-server application design. Experience conducting usability testing and user research. Experience in the government sector, particularly within DHS, is highly desirable. • Skills: Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, or similar. Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, with the ability to create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience with Agile methodologies and familiarity with DevSecOps environments. • Preferred: Experience with accessibility standards and regulations, particularly in government projects. Current Public Trust clearance or ability to obtain such clearance.
