Description

โ€ข Plan, organize, manage, and evaluate the human resources department for a specific group of independent business units. โ€ข Oversee employee lifecycle management, including recruitment, onboarding, annual compensation, and bonus processes, etc. โ€ข Support hiring managers in determining staffing requirements and oversee the recruitment and new hire onboarding process. โ€ข Oversee the talent review calibrations, annual performance review, engagement surveys and goal setting process for staff and ensure 100% completion for all employees. โ€ข Administer progressive disciplinary action in accordance with established procedures. โ€ข Ensure employees comply with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards. โ€ข Deliver and/or develop employee training, ensuring that all applicable compliance requirements are met. โ€ข Provide leadership and coaching to managers and employees on key workplace matters such as performance management, difficult conversations, employee relations, and employee development. โ€ข Manage and process business activities within the HRIS for a specific group of independent business units. โ€ข Partner with the Group HR Director on other HR projects. โ€ข Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

โ€ข Minimum of 5 years of work experience in a human resources specialist or generalist position working with US and Canadian workforce. โ€ข Demonstrated ability to meet strategic objectives for HR and the organization. โ€ข Demonstrated ability to manage HR core processes such as talent management, succession planning, and employee relations. โ€ข Able to make sound business decisions and data and evidence-based recommendations to management. โ€ข Effective communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organization. โ€ข Effective written and verbal communication skills as well as presentation skills. โ€ข Great organizational skills and ability to work independently. โ€ข Ability to interpret and implement employment related legislation. โ€ข Computer literacy, including effective working skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required. โ€ข Experience with an HRIS system, preferably Workday.
