Description

• Building and maintaining effective long-term relationships with decision makers and influencers. • Developing and implementing a comprehensive sales plan including new and existing sales strategies for large key accounts. • Collaborating closely with colleagues from the Ovid Sales Team to establish new sales of Ovid Synthesis at existing accounts. • Proactively seeking out and identifying potential clients and opportunities. • Evaluating and qualifying leads to ensure alignment with market and business objectives. • Developing and executing strategies to approach and engage prospective clients. • Conducting compelling sales presentations and demonstrations. • Handling negotiations with clients, addressing objections, and guiding them through the sales process. • Maintaining and managing a robust pipeline of new business opportunities.

Requirements

• Proven Sales Experience: Demonstrated success in sales roles, with a focus on acquiring new business and closing complex new business deals. • Strong Negotiation Skills: Ability to effectively negotiate terms and close deals while maintaining a positive client experience. • Strategic Mindset: Skilled in developing and executing strategies to attract and convert new clients. • Excellent Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex solutions clearly and persuasively. • Self-Motivated: Highly driven and proactive, with a strong work ethic and a passion for achieving and exceeding sales targets. • 5+ years field sales experience • Complex Sales/Solution Selling experience • Knowledge of Hospital/Quality Improvement industry • Experience negotiating with hospital leadership, IT and Procurement • Publishing/Information industry would be a plus but not necessary • Clinical market experience • Knowledge of Windows, Internet/WWW, CRM Applications, SalesForce • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate seamlessly across departments within Health Research • Intrinsically self-motivated, quick learner, disciplined time management and result-driven
