📋 Description

•This role provides effective team member relations and other People & Culture (P&C) services to designated departments. •This role will lead performance improvement and corrective action processes, investigate complaints from leaders and team members, and interpret policies and practices to support departmental performance and maintain UMAE’s culture. •This position will advise leaders to ensure effective, consistent employment practice delivery. •This role will also foster effective relationships within the P&C department, and across various departments to ensure engagement of relevant stakeholders, and delivery of appropriate people and culture solutions. •Position will also review, monitor, and advise on a variety of metrics related to People Operations services.

🎯 Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required. •Four (4) years of experience working in Human Resources, preferably in working in a team member relations capacity. •Verbal and written English communication skills; ability to interact professionally with all UMAE team members, vendors, and related stakeholders. •Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to deescalate and resolve conflicts. •Ability to work and interact professionally in a diverse and inclusive work environment. •Strong time management, task management, and organizational skills. •Strong understanding of HR handbooks, and ability to interpret policies and practices for effective, consistent talent management. •Ability to effectively manage multiple, competing priorities. •Knowledge of and adherence to applicable regulations and other compliance requirements. •Strong proficiency with MS Office (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) and other business tools such as project management and process workflow tools (e.g., Monday.com).
