• Develop and execute partner strategy: analyze internal capabilities and external market factors to determine where we need to partner, who to partner with, how to structure partnerships, etc. • Lead all aspects of deal execution with support: identifying and prioritizing targets, business case development, deal structuring, negotiating terms and contracts, and closing. • Collaborate across segments: liaise with Product, Sales, Commercial, and Strategy teams and other areas of the business to gather input and ensure alignment on the partners we pursue. • Build deep market knowledge through the ability to evaluate product offerings, utilize data and creatively find/use insights from internal and external sources. • Ensures the success of partnerships and work with the partner and stakeholders at Worldpay to launch and grow the partnership. • Have the autonomy to explore other potential partnerships that can deliver additional capabilities to our existing suite of products and services, and hence additional value to our merchants.

Requirements

• 7+ years of sales experience in a business development (preferred) or a relationship management role, ideally in a technology or fintech space. • A track record of signing and launching new partnerships with tangible business value and revenue impact, ideally in a technology or fintech space. • Proven ability to assess potential partnerships with a strategic lens; thinking through use cases, value proposition, what that means for the business case, and what tangible business benefit it provides in the short and long-term.
