β€’ Introduction to Zodia β€’ Digital Asset Custody, the way it should be β€’ As an institution-first, FCA-regulated digital asset custodian, Zodia Custody aims to provide financial institutions, corporations, and professional investors with the freedom to realize the full potential of the digital asset future on their own terms. β€’ Established in 2020, Zodia Custody combines the agility of a start-up with the heritage of a 167-year-old financial institution, Standard Chartered, in partnership with Northern Trust and SBI. β€’ Scope of role: β€’ Sales Leadership and development: β€’ Drive the team’s development and foster a collaborative and motivating environment to enhance team effectiveness and morale. β€’ Ensure team members are aligned with overall sales objectives and corporate values. β€’ Sales targets and revenue growth: β€’ Drive the achievement of individual and team sales targets. β€’ Identify and implement growth strategies aimed at expanding the client base in Germany, entering new markets, and diversifying revenue streams. β€’ Market expansion and strategic opportunities: β€’ Identify and assess new market opportunities, contributing to long-term business expansion. β€’ Lead go-to-market strategies for new products/ regions/client segments, ensuring they are executed efficiently and aligned with company objectives. β€’ Performance analysis and strategy optimisation: β€’ Responsible for analysing sales data, market trends, and competitor activities. β€’ Use insights to guide data-driven decisions, optimize strategies, and identify areas for improvement to maintain a competitive edge. β€’ Stakeholder engagement and strategic alignment: β€’ Collaborate closely with senior executives and cross-departmental stakeholders to align sales strategies with broader business objectives. β€’ Act as a liaison to ensure sales initiatives support organisational growth and reflect brand positioning. β€’ Key account and partnership management: β€’ Build and maintain strategic relationships with high-value clients, partners, and key industry stakeholders. β€’ Secure large accounts and long-term partnerships, acting as the executive contact to reinforce trust, loyalty, and ongoing engagement. β€’ Representing Zodia at industry conferences and events to promote brand awareness and establish thought leadership β€’ Key Stakeholders: β€’ Chief Revenue Officer β€’ Managing Director Sales, Europe β€’ Sales Team β€’ Relationship Management team β€’ Onboarding team

🎯 Requirements

β€’ 10+ years of experience in leadership roles within financial services, with a focus on digital assets or related fields β€’ Minimum 1 year of digital asset custody Sales experience β€’ Previous experience of having oversight and responsibility for Sales and Business Development β€’ Proven track record of managing and growing client relationships, particularly with institutional clients. β€’ Excellent strategic thinking and business development skills. β€’ Strong communication and negotiation skills. β€’ Ability to work effectively in a global team environment with a deep cultural understanding. β€’ Demonstrated passion for crypto and digital asset solutions. β€’ Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex issues creatively. β€’ Proactive and self-driven with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing environment. β€’ Based in Germany β€’ Fluent in English and Native German Speaker
