Description

• Responsible for working within an assigned territory, developing an external team of highly productive sales agents and implementing a sales plan to grow the business • Cultivates and manages strategic customer relationships with key end-user stakeholders, partners, and industry • Accountable for sales growth and market share opportunities with new and existing customers • Develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans to achieve sales targets • Build and manage an ambitious Siteworks sales funnel, leveraging CRM for account management, forecasting, and daily work • Delegate sales strategies and yearly targets, set up frequent review meetings and follow-ups • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to stay ahead of the competition • Reports on sales activities and creates sales quotations for customers • Identify and communicate "80/20" continuous improvement opportunities to improve customer satisfaction and reduce operational costs

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree preferred - preferably in Marketing, Business Management, or Engineering • 5+ years Territory and Key Account Management Experience or combination of education & experience • Experience in the manufacturing, construction, HVAC, plumbing & mechanical, or similar industry required • Ability to lead an indirect sales team with influence and understanding that success through other people's performance is vital to the job • Knowledge of direct manufacturing sales, 2-step distribution (retail / wholesale), rep agencies, and their related materials purchasing pathways is essential • Experience managing and driving growth through Independent Representatives in commercial and industrial channel • Excellent written and oral communication skills • Technical acumen, with ability to understand technical drawings, and do take-offs • Proficient in developing and delivering presentations to Engineers, Owners, Regulators, Architects, Contractors, Wholesalers, Distributors • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook) • Familiarity with DCRM, or Sales Force, or similar sales tracking tools • Team player, with demonstrated ability to leverage internal dotted line relationships • Ability to travel up to 75% of the time within assigned territory • Must reside within the West region (preferably California)
