• This position is a remote opportunity in the Abbott Diabetes Care Division. • As a National Sales Trainer, you will design, develop, and implement sales training programs relating to disease state, ADC Products, selling skills and competitive products. • This role will support training programs including but not limited to New Hire Sales Training, National and Regional Sales Meetings and ad-hoc trainings. • This role will leverage modern tools for learning and will liaise with external agencies as needed. • Travel to the corporate office in Alameda, CA will be an average of 1 week per month in addition to travel for National, Regional Sales meetings and Field Travel. • Must be willing to travel at least 50%.

Requirements

• Required Bachelor’s degree. • 3-5 years overall business experience. • 2+ years of experience in a sales role. • Demonstrated track record of high achievement. • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills. • Very good overall computer skills; proficient in Microsoft suite of products, advanced application in PowerPoint. • Preferred Skills: Prior sales training experience. • Prior experience as a District Sales Trainer. • Very good knowledge of diagnostic industry, market, market access and customers. • Familiar with modern training platforms such as Allego or similar. • Familiar with regulatory copy approval process. • Knowledge of regulations and standards affecting ADC products and selling practices in device industry.
