Description

• AEM is the leader in mission critical weather and environmental monitoring solutions. • Responsible for growing AEM's client base across the Central US territory. • Collaborate with the GTM team for territory strategy in water and environmental risk management. • Build relationships with senior-level stakeholders and facilitate technical discussions. • Identify and qualify new accounts, focusing on governmental and hydrological clients. • Lead proposal and bid preparation, ensuring compliance with government requirements. • Act as the main point of contact for key accounts, ensuring satisfaction and retention. • Stay updated on regulatory requirements and industry trends related to water management. • Accurately manage forecasts and sales activities in Salesforce.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, hydrology, environmental science, business, or related field (or equivalent experience). • Minimum of 7 years of experience in public sector sales within the environmental or hydrological monitoring sector. • Proven track record of securing high-value contracts with local and Federal agencies. • In-depth understanding of government procurement processes, FAR, GSA, and the unique needs of the Central US water and flood management landscape. • Familiarity with environmental monitoring solutions, including hydrology sensors, telemetry systems, and data platforms such as Contrail for Dam Safety. • Exceptional written, verbal, and negotiation skills. • Proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite for tracking sales, managing leads, and forecasting. • Willingness to travel approximately 30% of the time within the Central US Mountain region.
