• Proven experience (7-10+ years) in business development, partnership management, or a similar strategic role within a technology, digital services, or consulting company. • Previous experience as a federal government employee at VA, CMS, or similar federal organizations is highly preferred. • Embody the highest standards of professionalism when representing Agile Six, ensuring all interactions reflect our commitment to integrity and authenticity. • Understanding of how contracts are crafted and awarded at agencies that Agile Six typically works with, including VA and HHS (CMS, CDC). • Strong influencing and negotiation skills with the ability to drive outcomes through relationship-building and persuasive communication. • Deep understanding of market analysis, competitive intelligence, and business strategy within the government or federal services sectors • Exceptional critical thinking and discernment skills, especially when evaluating potential partnerships and opportunities • Experience working cross-functionally, collaborating with contracts, finance, and delivery teams to ensure business development efforts align with execution strategies • Authentic, values-driven approach, with the ability to represent Agile Six’s core values in high-stakes situations • Willingness to travel regularly within the MD/DC/VA area to attend key industry events and meet partners (travel is anticipated to be approximately 1 day per week of local travel) • Familiarity with agile software development practices.
