Description

β€’ The Sales Development Representative is responsible for a geographical area and within that territory is accountable for identifying business opportunities via outreach. β€’ The goal is to secure meetings, qualify sales leads, and hand-off leads process with the Sales Executive to close the opportunity. β€’ Generating leads will come from this individual’s direct discovery, utilizing multiple angles to reach out and identify new opportunities. β€’ Generating leads by establishing contacts in new strategic accounts through referrals, daily calls, online resources, and outreach. β€’ Making daily outreach calls to employers in multiple states, aiming for 100+ calls and follow-ups per day. β€’ Conducting initial qualification of opportunity to confirm viability and gather high-level understanding of customer needs. β€’ Identifying contacts at prospect accounts for Sales Executives to leverage for landing new accounts. β€’ Making successful transitions leads to the Sales teams while facilitating appointment scheduling in prospect accounts. β€’ Assisting Sales Executive in communication with generated opportunities to move deal through the sales process. β€’ Attaining company Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of 10 scheduled appointments per month and 3 proposals. β€’ Engaging with Marketing and the Sales Executive to execute on strategy for region for net new lands. β€’ Working with marketing to identify creative campaigns and ways to generate sales ready opportunities. β€’ Utilizing SalesForce.com and identify continuous improvement opportunities.

Requirements

β€’ Have 2 – 5 years of inside sales or business development lead generation experience β€’ Experience working in wealth and retirement business and the ability to partner and collaborate with cross-functional teams β€’ Have a documented achievement of plan performance β€’ Experience with both inbound and outbound lead generation, customer service, and/or phone based selling techniques β€’ Experience of daily dials, appointment setting, and opportunity generation accountability β€’ Experience running lead generation campaigns and multi-touch cadences β€’ Experience using SF.com and front-end cadence tools (Salesloft, Xant, Outreach i.e.) β€’ Have worked and collaborated with a field sales team with lead handoff β€’ Have the ability to partner and collaborate with cross-functional teams β€’ Be proficient with Microsoft Office, Salesforce, LinkedIn Navigator
