Description

• The Specialty Inside Sales Lead Consultant is responsible for working closely with independent agents to profitably grow the National General footprint within a region. • This role is responsible for meeting region volume and profit objectives for all available products, while maintaining and growing a relationship between the company and appointed agents. • Consistently achieving agreed upon new business production, direct written premium, loss ratio goals, and other KPIs on an annual basis by effectively managing the agents of an assigned territory. • Responsible for soliciting new agencies, evaluating their potential to write quality new business, and recommending qualified new agencies for appointment to the VP/RSM. • Responsible for recommending agencies to participate in profit-sharing, rewards, and special incentives programs, and other agency sales initiatives. • Responsible for increasing the percentage of producing agents within the territory through additional training and process improvements. • Also responsible for terminating agents for lack of production, unprofitable results, or other cause.

Requirements

• 4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred) • 2 + years of work experience in P&C insurance operations (Required) • In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
