Description

• Work across all Amplify products for content development continuity • Collaborate with VP, Editorial and product suite leads • Run the operations of the Amplify Editorial Board • Plan agendas and content for meetings • Represent Editorial Team's point of view • Facilitate meetings and ensure follow-up for executive decisions • Collaborate in selecting at-large Editorial Board members • Manage recruitment and selection process • Oversee onboarding and training of Editorial Board cohorts • Ensure products meet high quality standards • Oversee Editorial review of instructional content • Develop Editorial Guidelines • Support Project Manager in selecting Subject Matter Experts • Partner with other functions to align voice and tone in materials

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree • Minimum 8+ years in publishing, including experience in K-12 curriculum, particularly on state adoptions • 5+ years of increasing managerial experience • 3+ years managing content developers and/or copy editors • Basic reading proficiency in Spanish • Ability to handle multiple competing projects and priorities at one time • Superior attention to detail • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
