Description

β€’ Represent Apellis by leading the sales team in the Systemic Franchise. β€’ Drive market penetration and share growth through implementation of business plans. β€’ Track performance and enhance existing strategies to meet sales goals. β€’ Develop internal and external relationships to support business objectives. β€’ Manage the region budget and strategic spend effectively. β€’ Provide timely marketplace feedback to corporate leadership. β€’ Attract and retain top sales talent with relevant experience. β€’ Build a strong team culture aligned with company values. β€’ Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and regulations. β€’ Embrace creativity and innovation to identify new opportunities. β€’ Participate in national sales activities as directed by senior management.

Requirements

β€’ BA/BS degree β€’ Minimum of 3+ years front line sales management and/or strategic account management, with 6+ years progressive pharma/related industry experience. β€’ Proven experience in expanding and leading high-performing sales teams, driving success through product launches and growth initiatives. β€’ Experience in Nephrology, Hematology, rare disease, and solid organ transplant sales is a plus. β€’ Proven leader with the ability to effectively motivate and coach a sales team to achieve success in a competitive market. β€’ Strong business planning, organization, analytics, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. β€’ Highly effective collaborator who values cross-functional partnership. β€’ Strong communication skills with the ability to listen actively, express ideas fluently and succinctly, and present effectively. β€’ Strong clinical acumen with the ability to effectively communicate complex scientific data. β€’ Demonstrated integrity on the job, including an understanding and deep respect of relevant rules and regulations within the pharma sector. β€’ Self-motivated to take the initiative. β€’ Willing to travel domestically up to 75% of the time and attend events outside of business hours.
