• Have you been involved in several areas of demand planning in your career and understand the theory and philosophy of how demand planning fits into overall supply chain? • Are you looking for a career where your past experience can be used to make a difference; where continuous improvement, along with your fresh ideas are welcomed? • The Demand Analyst position is responsible for all forecasting activities associated with customers and products. • Maintains forecast models for their customers, incorporating business intelligence and forecast information gathered from sales, marketing, finance, customer replenishment analysts, and other sources. • This role is the integration point into the sales and supplier organization. • Basic forecast modeling is the responsibility of this position. • This position leads the dialogue each month for their respective customers and products with key counterparts in Sales and Asset Management.

Requirements

• Typically requires 5–7 years of related experience with a 4 year degree; or 3 years and an advanced degree; or equivalent work experience in supply chain, planning and operations functions within supply chain • Analytical • Someone who is a self-motivated go-getter is required • Driven by a continuous improvement mindset • Familiarity with manufacturing business model (Bills of material, production planning, etc) • Familiarity with distribution business model • Possess a core understanding of demand planning
