• Driving Availity’s strategy and growth in the government sector • Identifying, pursuing, and securing government contracts • Developing and executing a strategic sales plan to target government agencies • Cultivating strong relationships with key decision makers within government agencies • Staying informed about government regulations and adapting sales strategies accordingly • Collaborating with internal teams to tailor proposals to government clients • Leading contract negotiations to ensure favorable terms

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent • Minimum of 10 years of government health care industry sales experience • Demonstrated experience managing complex government sales cycles and negotiating agreements • Experience selling healthcare technology and understanding of healthcare EDI transactions • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Prior experience preparing and delivering formal proposals/presentations • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel 25%
