At Avint, you’ll help protect our national security while working on innovative projects that offer opportunities for advancement. • Currently, Avint is seeking a motivated, career and team-oriented Service Delivery Manager at our Herndon, VA office. • This role will be supporting the Department of Homeland Security and its Continuous Diagnostic and Mitigation (CDM) program. • Hands-on and required to work closely with operations leads, other SDMs, PMO Analysts, team leads and CDM partners. • Understanding and ability to demonstrate the purpose of CDM DEFEND. • Review schedule activities, status and results with PM, DPM, Operations Lead and other SDMs as required. • Implement baseline changes of the assigned agency into the DEFEND IMS by collaborating with applicable stakeholders. • Identify, develop and implement processes improving scheduling and coordination efforts in delivering the services associated with the associated tasks for the assigned group or agency.

🎯 Requirements

Technical Areas of Experience: • Knowledge and experience in quality analysis. • Understanding of critical path analysis of schedules. • Outstanding reporting skills, e.g., graphical presentation and advanced Microsoft Office skills. • 10 -12 years of experience in creating and managing projects with resource loaded schedules, Gantt charts and dependencies. • Facilitation of solution(s) alignment across multiple DHS components, DHS HQ, and DEFEND A team(s) resulting in more efficient delivery of CDM capabilities. • Ability to leverage tool implementation successes from across DHS to increase CDM value with components. • Ability to utilize & understand DHS CDM Dashboard data and assist components in identifying, mitigating and reporting data accuracy and gaps, in order align with CDM PMO expectations. • Responsible for conducting regular cadences and ad-hoc meetings with DHS and Components to enhance collaboration, optimize investments, and improve CDM performance. • Identifies and tracks programmatic risks and issues leading to increased visibility across the program and additional resources dedicated to resolution. • Provides support to multiple components’ strategic goals through procurement optimization, reducing DHS/component budget expenditures, and annually facilitates component IT Roadmap implementations. • Actively engages in DEFEND A capabilities and POCs to ensure thorough understanding of the component operating environment and leading to efficient tool rollouts. Qualifications: • Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements, US citizenship is required. • BA/BS with 10 - 12 years of relevant experience • Relevant professional certifications required • Serves as Career Manager responsible for performance management and professional development of lower levels. • Proactively leads teams in the execution of complex tasks with minimal direction and produces high quality results. • Demonstrates mastery of multiple functional areas. • Develops subject matter expertise of other staff. • Demonstrates exceptional communication skills, oral and written. • Leads working sessions to solicit ideas and develop innovative solutions. • Promotes collaboration across functional teams. • Develops and presents highly professional presentations, complex ideas, solutions and innovations to clients and Avint Leadership. • Attention to detail coupled with effective analytical and problem-solving aptitude. • Ability to establish working relations at all organizational levels. • Demonstrates the ability to work with government officials and program office stakeholders diplomatically and effectively. • Self-motivator with ability to work as part of a team or independently with little supervision or direction. • Ability to balance and prioritize many diverse tasks at once. • Experience in establishing new processes. • Serves as an Avint brand ambassador. • Always embodies Avint's core values. • Significantly contributes to growth initiatives in area of expertise. • Physical Requirements: • Office work, typically sedentary with some movement around the office.
