• This is a remote-based role, with candidates ideally located in the Salt Lake City area. • The territory is primarily Utah, but also includes Colorado and Arizona. • The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for all sales activities in their assigned territory and is responsible for growing business within a market. • Present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients. • Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts to be made. • Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity. • Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned. • Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts. • Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge. • Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships. • Prepare paperwork to activate and maintain contract services. • Manage account services through quality checks and other follow-up. • Identify and resolve client concerns. • Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals. • Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff. • Coordinate company staff to accomplish the work required to close sales. • Develop and implement special sales activities to reduce stock. • Participate in marketing events such as seminars and trade shows. • Follow-up for collection of payment. • Coordinate shipping schedules and delivery of merchandise and services. • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• An experienced sales professional with Automotive Refinish background and a strong track of successful customer support. • Bachelor’s degree and/or at least 5 years of related work experience • 5 + years of direct selling experience with a track record of hitting or exceeding sales goals • Experience selling to or managing relationships • Strong business development and prospecting skills and ability to quickly and effectively acquire new clients • Strong knowledge of the collision repair, commercial transportation and industrial business environment as well as distribution fundamentals • Working knowledge Axalta’s core product lines and repair shop business fundamentals • Demonstrates effective written and oral communication skills • Excellent relationship building and presentation skills • Must possess strong organizational, interpersonal and time management skills • Must have strong work ethic and self-discipline • Competent computer skills, proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) • Must be willing and able to travel up to 50% of the time • Valid driver’s license required • Must have reliable and well-maintained passenger vehicle.
