Description

• Drive sales strategy and achieve revenue targets • Lead and mentor a team of Sales Directors and Managers • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients • Analyze market trends and competitor activity • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales strategies • Provide regular performance evaluations, feedback, and coaching to sales team members • Lead Sales Enablement by refining sales processes and tools • Represent the company at industry events and networking opportunities • Oversee sales forecasts, metrics, and tracking systems • Ensure accurate sales forecasting and pipeline management

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a Life Sciences related field; MBA preferred • Strong understanding of the Genomics industry challenges • Familiarity with most common Sequencing, Synthetic Biology, cell and gene therapies, and molecular biology lab techniques • 12+ years of progressive experience in sales leadership roles • Proven ability to manage $150 – 200M revenue responsibility • Strong business acumen and understanding of sales strategies • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills • Exceptional interpersonal and organizational abilities • Proven ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans • Expertise in designing and roll-out of sales compensation incentive plans • Proficiency at analytics, funnel management, CRM, forecasting and other sales tools
