• Customer Acquisition and Retention: Identify and cultivate relationships with new and existing customers in the flatbed freight industry. • Understand customer needs and tailor solutions to meet their specific requirements. • Proactively reach out to potential clients to generate leads and close deals. • Build strong, long-term relationships with customers through exceptional service and communication. • Sales and Revenue Generation: Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets. • Negotiate rates and contracts to maximize profitability. • Track sales performance and identify areas for improvement. • Accurately forecast sales and revenue. • Operational Excellence: Collaborate with operations teams to ensure seamless execution of freight shipments. • Monitor market trends and industry developments to identify opportunities and challenges. • Utilize industry-specific software and tools to manage sales pipelines and track performance. • Stay up-to-date on transportation regulations and compliance requirements.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven track record in sales within the transportation and logistics industry. • Strong understanding of flatbed freight operations, including equipment, regulations, and logistics challenges. • McLeod TMS experience preferred. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
