Description
• Responsible for daily technical and escalations support for Ethernet Network Reliability Center • Facilitate outage bridges • Perform escalations and work alongside interfacing organizations to resolve network impairments • Provide technical support & training for Ethernet Network Operation technicians • Troubleshoot and advise on high impact network outage events
Requirements
• 3+ year troubleshooting experience with Ethernet, ATM, Frame Relay, IP, DSL, and/or Transport • Advanced knowledge of network layers 1, 2, and 3 • CCNA or CCNP Certification preferred however not a requirement • Expert knowledge of Nokia 7750, Cisco and Ciena Ethernet platforms • Ability to support/train NOC technicians in any facet of their role
