β€’ Your Mission: As our sponsorships & media sales maverick, you won't just be selling; you'll be sculpting the future of sports entertainment and the BBA. β€’ Responsibilities Sponsorship Sales Identify, prospect, and secure sponsorship opportunities for local sports tournaments in San Diego. β€’ Develop and maintain relationships with local businesses, corporations, and community partners to maximize sponsorship revenue. β€’ Create compelling sponsorship packages tailored to the needs of potential sponsors. β€’ Present sponsorship proposals and our long-term vision to potential partners and negotiate terms to achieve mutually beneficial agreements. β€’ Collaborate with the events team to ensure seamless execution of sponsorship activations during tournaments. β€’ Work closely with sponsors to fulfill contractual obligations and exceed expectations. β€’ Media Sales Collaborate with media outlets, including TV, radio, and digital platforms, to sell advertising space and coverage for the tournaments. β€’ Develop media partnerships to enhance the visibility of the tournaments and increase audience engagement. β€’ Create and deliver effective media sales pitches and presentations.

🎯 Requirements

β€’ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. β€’ Proven experience in sponsorship and media sales, preferably in the sports or events industry. β€’ Strong network of local business contacts and an ability to build and maintain relationships. β€’ Excellent communication and negotiation skills. β€’ Results-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. β€’ Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. β€’ Familiarity with the San Diego market is a plus.
