Description

• Join the team redefining how the world experiences design. • This role is based in our Austin, Texas office. • The team’s mission is to ‘make contracting easy and scalable to help Canva achieve its crazy big goals’. • Scale and enhance Canva’s contracting strategy for Canva Enterprise. • Provide pragmatic, business-minded guidance on customer and contract-related issues at Canva. • Collaborate with partners in Sales, Product, Finance, Security, Trust and Safety, and Product & Privacy Legal to support GTM initiatives.

Requirements

• You have extensive commercial and contracting legal expertise, with Sales as your primary stakeholder • You have prior experience in a technology company (preferably SaaS based) • You have a Law degree with admission to at least one state bar • You are excited to roll up your sleeves, learn the business and proactively identify and analyze opportunities and risks. • You have experience managing a team of lawyers • You are solutions focused, risk aware, not risk averse. • You are a collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills and a collegial attitude. • You are able to prioritize and effectively set and balance expectations.
