Description

• Responsible for managing an existing portfolio of Cloud partners driving new pipeline, opportunity progression, and closed revenue. • Be the first line of qualification for cloud partner referred pipeline by running a strict qualification process based on technical and commercial fit. • Execute CARTO’s partner strategy by engaging cloud partners around mutual solutions that enhance our customer’s experience with CARTO’s platform. • Be the main point of contact with our cloud partners, building long-lasting relationships at all levels of your partner organizations, from Account Executives all the way to leadership. • Enable CARTO’s cloud partners to effectively sell and integrate the CARTO platform, increase success through the adoption of CARTO, and develop a shared value proposition. • Create and drive strategic growth plans with key partners including, market assessment, revenue projections, go-to-market plans, and quantifiable metrics of success. • Own your partner’s portfolio targets and deliver the results. • Evaluate the strategic and economic impact of potential opportunities with the partners you’ll manage, and prioritize your efforts based on importance. • Contribute shaping our platform partnership strategy and building repeatable processes and scaled engagement models.

Requirements

• 4+ years of relevant experience in cloud technology, data, analytics, or GIS in partner roles, preferably in SaaS-based technology companies. • Experience working for a cloud hyperscaler a strong plus. Deep understanding of Cloud partner programs, incentives, compensation drivers, and planning cycles highly desired. • Solid technical acumen around cloud, cloud data warehouses, analytics and geospatial - demonstrated by clearly articulating technical cloud concepts, ability to run your own CARTO demos, enablement, and execute technical qualification calls. • Strong relationship management skills, ability to operate with little oversight, an executor with the ability to drive excitement and growth across cloud partners. • Demonstrated experience executing partner programs resulting in new pipeline and revenue. • A global citizen with the ability to adapt communication style to the requirements of each country. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, fluid work environment. Excellent cross departmental communication skills. • Proven ability to think ahead, engage proactively, and take initiative. • An entrepreneurial self-starter that can take a project and run with it, digging into data and coming up with strategic recommendations.
