Description

• EHS Program Development: Design and implement comprehensive EHS policies and procedures • Compliance Oversight: Monitor compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other relevant regulations • Process Safety Management: Collaborate with engineering and operations teams for PSM integration • Training & Development: Develop and deliver targeted training programs on EHS practices • Incident Management: Oversee investigations of incidents and near misses • Data Analysis & Reporting: Prepare and present EHS performance metrics and reports • Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with cross-functional teams to promote safety culture • Sustainability Initiatives: Drive efforts that minimize environmental impact

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Chemical Engineering, Occupational Health, Safety, or related field • 10 plus years’ experience in safety environmental in hazardous chemical manufacturing setting • Strong knowledge of EHS regulations, process safety standards, and best practices • Prior experience leading an EHS team required • Experience working with various regulatory agencies such as EPA and OSHA • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills • Relevant certifications (e.g., CSP, CIH, or equivalent) highly desirable
