Description

• As the Data Imports Engineer, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our imports, data pipeline and integration processes. • You will work closely with our engineering and data teams to ensure smooth, efficient, and accurate data imports from various sources into our EHR system. • Design, implement, and maintain robust ETL processes for importing data from diverse healthcare systems and formats. • Develop and optimize data mapping strategies to ensure accurate data translation between different systems. • Create and maintain data quality checks and validation processes. • Collaborate with the product team to develop new data import features and improve existing ones. • Troubleshoot and resolve complex data integration issues. • Implement and maintain data security and privacy measures in compliance with healthcare regulations. • Develop and maintain documentation for data import processes and workflows. • Collaborate with client success teams to support custom data migration projects.

Requirements

• Deep experience with MySQL, MariaDB, or PostgreSQL • Extensive experience with various ETL platforms like dbt, Fivetran, and AWS Glue • Proficiency in using interactive data mapping tools like Alteryx • Strong programming skills in PHP or Python • Experience with healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR, etc.) is a plus • Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably AWS • Strong understanding of data modeling and database design principles • Experience with version control systems, preferably Git • Experience with tools like Selenium, Puppeteer, Playwright • Occasional weekend work (with comp time)
