Description

• Collaborate with regional Business Development Directors and operations teams to create client meetings and generate business development opportunities • Manage sales pipelines from discovery to implementation and present weekly reports to BD and the Executive team • Establish a strong professional network in the energy space. • Develop and maintain a network of corporate, industry, government, municipal, and community contacts to keep abreast of industry, client, and competitor activity • Work with cross-functional teams to refine program designs for Residential and C&I sectors, including hard-to-reach segments • Build relationships with clients, team partners, and community influencers inside and outside the firm. • Meet with new/existing clients to discover and pursue new business opportunities • Lead and consult on the development of DR proposals and budgets with regional teams and Subject Matter Experts • Develop and present materials for client-facing interviews with Subject Matter Experts • Provide internal feedback on market trends, including client, competitor, and technology updates • Assess and engage in energy market opportunities, ensuring financial viability • Provide strategic insights and recommendations to support business development initiatives, including market entry strategies, RFP and Deal strategies, partnerships, and acquisitions

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of work experience and 4 years of experience in business development • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related discipline • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to diverse audiences • Excellent skills with digital systems including Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams) and other proposal writing tools • Experience with business development, proposal development and CRM automation software and emerging digital tools • Strong strategic thinking and business acumen, with the ability to align market development initiatives with overall business objectives • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and strategies
