Description

• Coach and support the growth of the People Experience Specialists • Updating and maintaining policies in alignment with local legal standards • Guide People Experience Specialists with escalated employee relation matters • Manage and resolve performance and employee relations challenges • Utilise employment law to provide expert HR advice • Participate in execution and completion of annual projects • Maintain processes that uphold Lush employment policies and values • Lift employee feedback to appropriate teams for resolution • Partner with other teams to identify themes to address • Support People Experience Manager with management of litigation in North America • Collaborate with People Partners to address engagement issues • Objectively assess escalated complaints and report back on results • Assist with analysing ER data to improve employee experience • Support development of quarterly people audits

Requirements

• 3-5 years direct employee relations experience • 3-5 years’ experience in retail, manufacturing and or corporate HR • Proven experience supervising and developing a team • Senior Level experience with employee complaints, time attendance issues • Proficient in local employment laws • Experience developing strong people practices/programs across multiple areas • Demonstrated knowledge of coaching, mediation and investigation best practices • Ability to analyze people problems and collaborate on solutions • Ability to build relationships and manage complex team dynamics • Excellent listening and communication skills • Excellent analytical, critical thinking skills • Excellent organization and time management • Proficient in excel, Microsoft suite, adaptable to other systems • Ability to travel up to 20% to shops, Vancouver, or Toronto
