Description

• Provide pre-sales support for complex managed services solutions in a cloud hosting environment. • Act as a subject matter expert on RapidScale solutions. • Work directly with customers on sales opportunities and validation of quotes. • Produce supporting diagrams and written statements of work. • Interface between Sales, Product, Marketing, and Engineering teams. • Participate in enhancement of products and services. • Mentor other SE team members and assist in project management.

Requirements

• 6+ years of progressive IT solutions experience with a BS/BA degree; or 10+ years in lieu of degree (required). • 3+ years of experience in pre-sales support (required). • 2+ years of IT leadership experience is a major advantage. • Excellent communication skills; effective in a professional manner. • Strong problem resolution and conflict management skills. • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows OS. • Strong knowledge of LAN and WAN technologies. • Understanding of IP addressing, subnets, routing protocols, firewalls, and load balancing. • Understanding of security solutions (IPS/IDS, SIEM, Identity Management, etc.). • Working knowledge of compliance frameworks (SOC, PCI, HIPAA, etc). • Strong understanding of virtualization technologies. • Familiarity with desktop virtualization, M365. • Strong interpersonal skills; must be a team player. • Strong MS Office and Visio skills.
