β’ Sales Representative role focuses on achieving aggressive corporate sales goals. β’ The sales representative will report to the SVP-Sales, who will manage, train and mentor the sales representative. β’ Successful individuals are expected to develop into territory sales executives managing complete sales cycle.
β’ Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education, training or work experience. β’ Experience within the mortgage industry in an originations, secondary marketing, fulfillment or operations role, or with a mortgage technology or consulting firm providing solutions for same is a plus, but not required. β’ Excellent written and verbal communication, decision-making and problem-solving skills β’ Professional presentation skills and public speaking ability/confidence are critical. β’ Analytical skills are necessary to determine client business needs and requirements. β’ Strategic sales aptitude and ability to manage a very complex sales process from start to finish. β’ Proven work ethic and excellent time-management skills are a must. β’ Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships within all levels of prospective client organizations, from C-level to business unit managers to actual platform users. β’ Successful individuals in this role will display a consultative approach and the ability to identify solutions that solve clientsβ pain points. β’ Ability to travel is required.
