Description

β€’ The Account Director owns the full sales cycle and is responsible for prospecting new opportunities, developing leads, building relationships, and closing sales. β€’ You will be responsible for selling digital media and sponsorship opportunities. This role will own a territory within the US. β€’ Support customers to ensure they have a successful experience with us both in person and virtually. β€’ Our Account Directors are consultative, data-informed, strategic sellers.

Requirements

β€’ Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and proactively identify resources to maintain industry knowledge; knowledge of the data, security, and AI sectors are huge plusses. β€’ Active listener and persuasive communicator, with the ability to ask the right questions and effectively translate client needs into competitive proposals and close sales β€’ Ability to build relationships and collaborate successfully with multiple functional groups (operations, editorial, etc.) β€’ Proactive, independent work style that demonstrates the ability to effectively prioritize, multitask, and identify potential challenge areas with limited oversight β€’ Experience using HubSpot or a similar CRM dashboard to manage and prioritize work β€’ Ability to conduct face-to-face sales through video calls and in-person meetings β€’ Willing and able to travel overnight up to 25% of the time
