Description

• Responsible for planning and implementing technology-driven business and clinical transformation using EHR and other clinical application platforms. • Leads the management of EHR and other clinical application platforms to achieve business goals. • Manage system integration with both internal and external entities. • Help improve the quality and effectiveness of the overall healthcare operations by providing leadership. • Facilitate and improve patient care using enabling technologies. • Foster better communication among staff, providers, IT, nursing, and other business and clinical services related to information systems. • Attends, coordinates, and leads super user groups, and informatics committees to ensure a collaborative approach. • Provides after hours support related to scheduled systems maintenance and or unscheduled outages. • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current trends and issues in healthcare, clinical best practices, healthcare informatics, and regulatory/accreditation standards. • Initiate and lead special projects assigned by the CIO and the Senior leadership critical to the organization. • Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business and clinical enterprise. • Maintain up to date knowledge of regulatory requirements for EHR and other clinical systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university and eight (8) years of progressively responsible experience in healthcare, preferably in Behavioral Health industry. • Nursing degree or LCSW preferred but not required. • Experience in project planning, project management and directing resources as appropriate to complete projects on time and on budget. • Ability to be a hands-on manager working as part of the team when necessary to meet business commitments. • Advanced levels of analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking & communication skills • Ability to communicate, develop and leverage business relationships across the organization and externally. • Must be self-motivated and take initiative. • Healthcare experience with working know with systems such as Epic, eCW and or Athena. • At least 5 years’ experience in managing Informatics initiatives.
