Description

• IonQ is developing the world's most powerful full-stack quantum computer based on trapped-ion technology. • We are looking for a Director of Federal Government Sales. • You’ll lead IonQ on its journey to build and commercialize the world’s best quantum computers. • Focus on US Federal and State Government Agencies, specifically DOE labs or Department of Energy National Laboratories. • Provide thought leadership and develop relationships pre RFI/RFQ.

Requirements

• At a minimum, you must have a Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline • You must have at least 3 years of experience selling to National Labs / Government Agencies such as DARPA, DOD, DOE, etc. • You must know Government procurement processes. • Introductory knowledge of Quantum Computing and Quantum Information Science • Government Security Clearance • Existing relationships within Federal Agencies • A working knowledge of the FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations) • Proven track record of winning deals with Government Agencies • Knowledge of existing Federal funding opportunities for Quantum Computing
