β’ Bachelor's degree in chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Business field preferred β’ 2+ years of sales experience is preferred β’ Demonstrated experience selling in the industrial food and beverage industry β’ Strong understanding of food plant sanitation protocols β’ Familiar with what SQF or BRC is helpful but not necessary β’ Experience with chemical proportioners and foamers is a plus β’ Proven effectiveness in prospecting, closing new projects, and delivering effective presentations β’ Demonstrated ability to build and manage long-term customer relationships β’ High achievement orientation; driven to perform and grow β’ Strong consultation, negotiation, problem-resolution, and interpersonal skills β’ Excellent oral and written communication skills β’ Ability to understand new product lines and utilize knowledge to fulfill customer needs β’ Proficient in Microsoft Office β’ Professionally developed sales and territory management skills β’ Ability to travel up to 25% including overnight travel β’ Must possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record. β’ Ability to perform technical/mechanical on-site testing.
