β’ Partners with Agents and Consultants to obtain new sales and retain existing membership. β’ Maximizes growth of Agent's small group business through relationship management. β’ Serves as the lead contact for Agents and Consultants. β’ Builds and maintains effective relationships with Agents for new and renewal business. β’ Completes extensive research and captures group specific information for re-rating. β’ Works with underwriting to provide rating solutions. β’ Identifies alternative rating solutions to attract customer base. β’ Performs and completes the renewal process accurately. β’ Develops and presents effective sales and retention strategy. β’ Manages Agent expectations through a consultative relationship. β’ Demonstrates strong knowledge of products, e-commerce tools, and industry knowledge. β’ Conducts negotiations to provide solutions for customers. β’ Provides education on Blue Cross NC products, procedures, and services. β’ Trains Agent/Consultant regarding the renewal process. β’ Responsible for market/competitive information for competitive positioning. β’ Supports Agent with enrollment meetings and health fairs.
β’ Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (where required) β’ 0-2 years of experience in related field β’ 3+ years of experience in related field (in lieu of degree) β’ NC Life and Health Insurance License (or be able to obtain within 60 days of employment) β’ Must possess and maintain a valid driverβs license.
