Description
β’ This high-profile position offers challenging and rewarding work for an experienced government relations professional with a strong housing policy background. β’ The role will have an added emphasis on housing policy. β’ Collaborate, support, and elevate internal business initiatives that are relevant to and/or include the participation of Washington stakeholders.
Requirements
β’ 10+ years of government relations experience in a leading advocacy role working on financial services issues which includes a strong background in housing policy. β’ Deep understanding of legislative and regulatory processes. β’ Additional experience working on key financial services policy issues which include: credit reporting and credit scoring, financial inclusion, financial education/financial literacy, fair lending, student lending, matters related to the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, use of artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques, and privacy. β’ Extensive network on and off Capitol Hill as well as experience working with housing-related trade associations and federal agencies. β’ Excellent oral, written and communication skills with executive level presence. β’ A team player who thrives in a high-energy, multi-tasking and collaborative environment.
