Description

ā€¢Financeit is looking for a Business Development Manager to drive new acquisition sales within the Home Improvement sector across Canada. ā€¢This role will focus on building and nurturing relationships with associations, OEMs, and service providers to launch new networks of dealers. ā€¢The ideal candidate will be hardworking, self-driven, and motivated, with a strong sense of team spirit. ā€¢This individual will excel at networking and establishing new relationships, be solutions-oriented, and have a data-driven mindset. ā€¢The role requires someone capable of presenting the product to a large audience, conduct training sessions with key user groups, and develop an in-depth understanding of the Financeit product suite. ā€¢The Business Development Manager will be expected to dedicate 50% of their efforts in the field, working across Canada to drive opportunities alongside the existing sales team and engaging directly with merchants.

Requirements

ā€¢5+ years of experience in business development and hands-on, face-to-face direct sales. ā€¢BA degree or equivalent practical experience. ā€¢Entrepreneurial spirit with a proven track record for closing large deals. ā€¢Previous experience with legal procurement and contract negotiation is a plus. ā€¢Driven, energetic, and comfortable cold calling to build a robust sales pipeline. ā€¢Excellent verbal and written communication skills. ā€¢Strong interpersonal, organizational, and multitasking skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure. ā€¢Demonstrated success in managing business-to-business sales and service relationships. ā€¢Proficiency with CRM systems, ideally Salesforce. ā€¢Strong analytical skills for assessing and qualifying leads, and managing data. ā€¢Willingness to travel 50% of the time across Canada and the US for industry events and client meetings.
