Description

• Develop, promote, and drive adoption of the Fortive Business System (FBS). • Drive strategic initiatives defined by the leadership team for exceptional financial performance. • Provide thought leadership, roadmap, and development of FBS leaders throughout Gordian. • Provide executive coaching and development to functional leaders in various departments. • Work across peers and indirect subordinates in a matrixed environment.

Requirements

• B.S. or M.S. required. • 5+ years of experience leading continuous improvement and transformative initiatives in a business function • Shows a commitment to serve customers; aligns with organizational objectives with customer interests. • Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills are essential. • Excellent presentation, oral communications, and writing skills are required. • Display the ability to adapt to technical challenges quickly in unfamiliar environments, and to apply current knowledge to unknown topics to accomplish the appropriate results. • Develop insights into situations quickly; question conventional methods and find best solutions. • Encourage innovative ideas to increase efficiency and productivity. • Make appropriate-level decisions independently. • Make recommendations for improvement for existing processes. • Possesses a high sense of urgency to deliver results. • Targets breakthrough performance, believes in achieving the unachievable • Highly autonomous and self-directed but listens to leadership for high-level direction. • Comfortable in a very direct and candid environment, focus on results and improvements. • Has the ability to create followership to drive effective change management. • Possess the technical skills necessary to resolve a broad array of business issues. • Effectively articulate issues, facilitate their resolution, and report results to leadership. • Provide examples of use of Project management & FBS tools to provide results in organizational improvement. The tools must include at least: Kaizen, VOC, VSM, Standard Work, Daily Management, 5S, Visual Management, PSP, Transactional Process Improvement, etc.
