• The Key Account Manager will manage all aspects of engagements with existing customers within the Feedback Encoder business unit. • You will build relationships and understand customer business in order to provide appropriate products or solutions. • You will define sales and growth strategy toward key customers while aligning with critical sales business objectives. • You will identify opportunities and build credibility with customers and utilize your product knowledge to deliver the value proposition to the customers. • Identify and pursue opportunities for business growth in the assigned territory. • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets. • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, distributors, and partners. • Develop account plans that identify opportunities for growth and outline strategies for achieving revenue targets. • Conduct regular business reviews with key customers and distributors to review performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and align on future goals and objectives. • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts as well as new accounts that fit the company's ideal customer profile. • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with key customers. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute industry-specific sales strategies. • Provide industry-specific insights and thought leadership to the overall sales organization. • Build and maintain relationships with key industry organizations and influencers. • Monitor and analyze customer and market trends. • Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions, sales activities, and deal information in the company's CRM system. • Maintain accurate sales records and reports. • If required, may have greater decision-making authority.
• Bachelor's degree in business, sales, marketing, engineering or a related field • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, with a track record of success in both business development (growth at new customers) and account management (growth at existing customers) • Experience in selling electronic components or motion related products (ie motors, drives, encoders) • Up to 50% travel within Ohio Valley territory • Experience in a target industry is preferred • Excellent communication and leadership skills • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams • Willingness to travel as needed to attend conferences and events
